On July 7, 2021, SAICMOTOR base photovoltaic power generation project undertaken by Shanghai Huaming Power Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 'Huaming'), a subsidiary of Huaming Equipment Group, officially started. Leaders from the local government and representatives of SAICMOTOR Fujian Branch attended the groundbreaking ceremony.
The SAICMOTOR Base Distributed Photovoltaic Power Generation Project is located in Ningde city. It uses 32 color steel tile plants with a total installed capacity of 21MW, of which about 10MW is connected to the 10kV high-voltage system, divided into two access points; About 11MW is connected to a 380V low-voltage system, with 33 access points in total. After completion, the annual average power generation capacity is about 20.8 million kWh, which can save 7,500 tons of standard coal each year, reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 16,930 tons, reduce sulfur oxide emissions by about 129 tons, and reduce nitrogen oxide emissions by about 44 tons. Therefore, it will contribute a lot to energy saving and emission reduction.
Photovoltaic power generation is clean energy which neither directly consumes resources, nor releases pollutants or waste materials. It does not generate greenhouse gases that damage the atmosphere. For many years, Huaming has always taken environment protection as our mission and responsibility, and actively responded to the continuous development of new energy and the important tasks of 'carbon peak emission and carbon neutral'. We have successively built several photovoltaic power stations in Ningxia, Shandong, Anhui and Henan provinces. Among them the most eye-catching project is the photovoltaic power station located in Shapotou, Ningxia Province, covering an area of 5,500 acres, with a total installed capacity of 200MW. The power station has been connected to the grid at the beginning of this year, and it has continuously served the eastern coastal areas providing green and clean energy.
