The 110kV substation of a China Unicom cloud data center was recently put into use. As a good partner of on-load voltage regulating power transformer, Huaming’s CZ tap-changer is doing its best to ensure stable performance.
CZ dry type vacuum OLTC is made of 3 single-phase tap-changers and is controlled by one motor drive unit. Its max. rated current for one phase is 500A and max. work positions 17 (linear). CZ has pretty good operation records. For example, during 2014 FIFA World Cup at Brazil’s Itaipava Arena Fonte Nova, CZ did an excellent job, guaranteeing reliable power supply.
For this China Unicom project, Huaming’s star product 110kV CZ dry type vacuum tap-changer, together with SHM-D smart digital motor drive unit, will for sure contribute to the cloud center’s operation.
